Racket Weight (U Class)
- 2U (90–94g) — Maximum power, suited to strong players.
- 3U (85–89g) — Balanced; most popular among club players.
- 4U (80–84g) — Lighter, faster swing; doubles favourite.
- 5U (75–79g) — Ultra-light for speed and control.
Grip Size
G1 is the smallest grip; G5 is the largest. Most adults use G4 or G5. You can build up grip with overgrips.
Shoes
Badminton shoes run true to Indian sizes. If between sizes, size up for wider feet. Non-marking soles required for indoor courts.
